Balsamic-Glazed Steak Rolls

8  thin slices of sirloin or flank steak   [length and width to your preference]

  •   extra-virgin olive oil             salt and freshly ground        fresh rosemary
  •  1 red pepper sliced in strips
  •   1 green pepper
  •   1 zucchini

1 yellow onion all veg. thinly sliced    can add mushrooms

Rosemary Balsamic Glaze

  •   1 teas. olive oil
  •   1 large clove of garlic
  •   1/4 cup of dark Balsamic vinegar
  •   2 tbsp. dry red wine
  •   2 tea. brown sugar
  •   2 sprigs of rosemary

1/4 cup beef broth

STEPS

Rub steak slices with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper and rosemary

Heat 1 tbsp oil and heat veg. till crisp tender, lay across steak strips so they stick out of the ends when rolled, hold with toothpick

Glaze- heat olive oil in sauce pan add garlic and heat 1 min..add vinegar, red wine, br. sugar and rosemary sprigs and bring to boil…………..simmer for 5 min., then add broth and simmer for 15 more min

Either grill on pre heated grill for 2 min on both sides………….or skillet fry over medium heat till done

Serve immediately…..  and drizzle with glaze             GREAT FOOTBALL FOOD
